Is the subscription really free too?
Yes. The offer includes the camera lease and a free annual subscription. Your checkout total comes to $0.
Does the whole team have to sign up?
No. One parent or coach claims the camera and every other family gets access to their own player's highlights. You do need to share the join team link with your roster for the camera to ship.
Do I need to add a roster?
You share a join team link, and that is how Trace confirms your team has not already claimed a camera. The roster is also what lets Trace track players and send each one their own highlights after the game. Joining is free and takes an email address.
Who gets the camera if two of us try?
The first person from each team to check out. It's one per roster, so tell your team who is claiming it.
Do I have to film it myself?
No. You press one button and raise the tripod. The camera covers the full court and the AI decides where to pan and zoom based on the play.
What do we get after a game?
Full game footage plus an automatically edited highlight reel for every player, including PlayerCam 4x zoom that follows your athlete. Delivered within hours.
My kid plays on multiple teams. Do I need two subscriptions?
No. One subscription covers every game your child plays in, on any team, as long as that game is being filmed on Trace.
Can we use it for practice and scrimmages?
Yes. Games, scrimmages, practices, ID camps. Anything that simulates game play.
Does it work indoors?
Yes. Just make sure your gym allows a freestanding tripod near the center line. It does not work behind a net or fence.
Is this only for Fall Brawl?
No. This is your camera for the season. Film every game your program plays, not just our events.
What happens when the 200 are gone?
The offer closes. Trace has a waitlist on the partner page if you miss this round.
